Driving directions to our Kenai & Kasilof river Boat launches
It’s no secret the Kenai and the Kasilof rivers are home to some of the best salmon and trout fishing in the world. However, the Kenai river being 82 miles long, Kasilof river being 17 miles long, that’s just about 100 miles of river your guide needs to know better than the back of their hand. In fact, on our Kenai River fishing Locations map below, shows we guide all 100 miles of water.
While salmon are quick to migrate, make sure your guide is up to speed and knowledgeable of all 100 miles of water. In addition, to our Kenai River fishing locations map and Kasilof River locations, we also supply our guest with local knowledge where you can try fishing on your own! Furthermore, this map will guide you to us, then leave the guiding to Kenai Drift Anglers.

Our fishing guest looking for some Alaska roadside fishing spots on the Kenai River can be a daunting task. First, if you’re looking for some Sockeye fishing local honey holes, try these spots out. One of our favorite fishing holes is located on Keystone Drive, in Soldotna about 3.5 miles from Soldotna, Fred Myers. Guide tip, park along Keystone road you will get your car towed if you park down by the Kenai River.
Our Favorite Silver Salmon spot is also along Keystone Drive called Swiftwater Park & Campground. This is a great place to fish for Silver salmon on the Kenai River with access to great camping from an RV or tent camping. Swiftwater Park fees range from $10.00-$30.00 a night. You can park down at the boat launch here and Silver fish from the fishing platform or if you have fishing waders fish right below the island in front of you. To have the best success, cast Spinners or Bobber fish with Salmon roe. Swiftwater Park starts to see Silver Salmon the middle of August into September.
